Wandin North Primary School

Our client’s brief was to design an early aged (Junior play space) that involved nature play, sensory play items, social hubs, active play and exercise. The design intent is for an organic, sensory and sustainable playground using materials such as stone, logs, hardy and colour plants, synthetic grass rolling mound, fossil finding dig space and the world’s largest sand pit. Shade trees was also a necessity  and off the shelf play equipment was not to be incorporated. Informal entry through the playground to the schools front office.
