A Front Garden With Heart - Mediterranean Style

With a focus on planting for a client who’s an avid gardener, we transformed this small front yard from a steep patch of couch grass and a lone lemon tree into a vibrant, usable garden space.

The brief was to create access pathways, veggie beds, and room for Mediterranean-style and productive plants. We used a natural and organic material palette to soften the space, with lush green and contrasting grey foliage bringing the garden to life. Year-round flowering plants add bursts of colour and keep things looking lively throughout the seasons.

We introduced terracing to help hold moisture in the garden beds and make access easier. Random stone paving and steps now guide you through the space. The garden is also best viewed from the upstairs balcony — the perfect spot to relax and soak it all in.
